OUR COMPANY HISTORY
TMSI Telephony Managed Solutions Inc. is an authorized AVAYA Business Partner
& Samsung Dealer in the Telecommunications market. Our association with
AVAYA started in 1987. In the earlier years we performed the cabling for most, if
not all, of the AVAYA data and voice installations in the Greater Vancouver Area.
The total number of terminals installed would exceed 10,000. TMSI became the
only western authorized AVAYA Dealer in the summer of 1990. TMSI has been a
dealer of Samsung products since 2002. The Samsung brand has grown to become
one of the most respected and valued names in consumer electronics all over the
world.
Some of our many customers include Covenant House, CH Robinson, Ocean
Trailer, ADT, Family Services of Greater Vancouver, QuikSilver, Energizer Canada
and hundreds of other successful clients as well. Owner Tom MacDonald has
extensive experience in the voice data market, having been an entrepreneur in this
industry since 1980. Director of Sales & Project Management, Rick Gauthier has
over 20 years of telephony experience.
TMSI follows the philosophy of AVAYA that is to "gain customers for life." We do
this by not only providing the best possible equipment and service, but also by
thinking of other ways to help the customer. For example we have developed new
innovative ways to save many customers on their monthly line charges and their
long distances charges. We also help many customers get on the Internet by doing
Web Page design & providing broadband and internet & VoiP services. All of this is
done by providing advice and services that no other interconnect provides.
